Took me a little longer to get home Monday night. Had to do a few stops to take advantage of the great light.
Favorite shots from the last few weeks. Gearing up for a thanksgiving half marathon, make better on my ironman run.

::I drove by this house a few times and kept forgetting my camera. Was worried they would rip it down before I had a chance. I was so stoked yesterday when it was still up.::

::Said good bye to my Chevy last week...it was time. These two are taking about how nice of an owner I am.::

::Of Course after an 8 month training year, I headed up to Tulameen for bust loose tour. Solid little long weekend::
Shots from the month of May…
Here are some shots from the trip down south.
After Shooting fireworks all over my house, Saturday I decided to stick with the carnage theme. Went out to watch some Christmas trees burn and trucks get stuck in mostly mud filled pits.
Then Sunday Took off to the city to start 2011 training with a run along the seawall. Not much else to report other then here are the photos and Happy New Year.
Racing next weekend so I’ll have some running and training progress next week.
I’ve been toying with this idea for a long time. My grandpa was going to throw out all these slides that he didn’t want anymore, so I decided to save 192 of them from the trash. I came up with a lighting box concept, similar to ones that I have built before, but this one will be an actual lighting box.
I will be making a few more of these as more slides come in and with be for sale on the art project website. Be looking at about 350-400 dollars for one of similar size

The basic materials used. The frame size will be 20 inches by 4 foot. Perfect size for over the fireplace. Also have 2x2 and 1x3 wood for the structural framing. It's already primed white..

Glass inserted and is cut to fit the 20 inch by 4 foot frame. The glass was placed in between the 2x2 frame and the 1x3 outer frame. All ready started gluing the slides to the glass. Used a weldbon glue that was a quick dry.

I tried sorting the slides into colours and glued in a sequnced but didn't have enough choice of colours and slides to really make it work. Total of 192 slides, and took about 45 to an hour to glue and sort them all out.
Shots from around Van city before the big parade.
Been playing around with a few ideas for wood frames, and different ways to present art. In a previous post I had some fun with chemical stain and good old fire. Some shots of what the original frame looks like with out fire with a different piece. Looking for some feedback…which is better. These pieces have been added to the ART PRO. If you want one, try out our new ordering system, its pretty mental, in a good way.
Photo Thursday…, shots from the start of the week, was so pumped to see the sun.
Took a few shots of the after all the ripping and shredding. It was a cool but beautiful morning and had some sun creeping into the living room. So very interesting light and makes the morning that more enjoyable when its not raining!
Hope everyone had a good Christmas and are getting pumped for 2010. Should be a great year with a lot of good things to look forward to.
Some shots from this week. Nice to see the sun again.
