::Little ounce of sun this week::

This is probably the longest time I’ve been outside this week…to shoot pictures. Its been snowy, cold and very windy this week making running and biking outdoors not really possible. I headed out to one of my favorite local running and biking spots to grab some photos of this crazy weather system.

Favorite shots from the last few weeks.  Gearing up for a thanksgiving half marathon, make better on my ironman run.

::I drove by this house a few times and kept forgetting my camera. Was worried they would rip it down before I had a chance. I was so stoked yesterday when it was still up.::

::Said good bye to my Chevy last week...it was time. These two are taking about how nice of an owner I am.::

::Of Course after an 8 month training year, I headed up to Tulameen for bust loose tour. Solid little long weekend::

IMC Photos

Some IMC photos just came in from Calgary .  I played around with them a bit but the credit doesn’t go out to me.  Thanks Julie.  Officially got over 3,000 dollars  today online @ ironmanfund.com.   Boooom!

I can't get enough of start line photos. So much energy! The only time you see everyone together.

Olympic gold

I’m gathering up my photos from my ski trip last week but had to jump the gun and throw some up from the big hockey game yesterday afternoon.  Decided to get up and get my training in early so I could get downtown for the madness.  I didn’t stay for the after party but did get to see the game.  The whole thing was fun to watch, horns going through the night and the hangover begins.

Sun coming in through the window @ the Met.

Had Sun coming just as the game was finishing up. Pretty cool thing to see.

Abbotsford Photo Thursday.

Photos from yesterday for today.  Shots around my house, went for a wonder.  Got some happy shots before it started pissing rain.  Will be adding some pix to our stock digital downloads section on TAPO.

This was the display window @ Champagne and Lace, with some reflection off the street.

Interesting house just down the street from me, the roof is just weird.

The old court house at the end of my street, shot first thing in the morning.

Merry 2009 Christmas.

Took a few shots of the after all the ripping and shredding.  It was a cool but beautiful morning and had  some sun creeping into the living room.  So very interesting light and makes the morning that more enjoyable when its not raining!

Hope everyone had a good Christmas and are getting pumped for 2010.  Should be a great year with a lot of good things to look forward to.

Cuba photography

Headed out to Cuba last Monday, got back on pretty much a red eye flight Tuesday morning at 4 am.  Was a pretty long flight back, being tucked in a little space.  I believe the flight was a solid 6 hours, going there was about 5 hours 40 minutes.

Spent 7 days at a 5 star resort which would normally be about a 4 in Mexico, I think mostly because the US doesn’t have any influence on the country.  Beaches are a lot better then Mexico with flatter, warmer and clearer water.  You also don’t have Mexicans bugging ya every few minutes to buy shit.

We headed into the Capital of Cuba, Havana for a day trip.  Saw how a lot of Cubans lived and what they lived in.  Some very interesting structures as well as a lot of variety of vehicles.  Many 50′s Americana cars, Chinese buses and Russian sports cars with very old Spanish architecture.

Didn’t do too much of the culture stuff since we stayed at an all inclusive but it was still quiet an eye opener see how these people lived.

Grabbing some of my favorite shots, I’ll add more probably to flickr later on.

Thursday Morning Photography.

Trying to get training back on track after a crazy wedding weekend.  One more work week then it will be Victoria time.  Getting pretty amped up, should be a good race and hopefully the weather will be as good as this last weekend.

I didn’t get a chance to put these photos up but here are some shots from Thursday morning.  I don’t think I have ever seen light like this.  I was loosing my mind when I saw it, and was so stoked when I saw my camera in the backseat.
