Some shots from this week…  Spent a lot of my time at this house on River Rd out in Ladner, BC.  An amazing piece of construction.  This is the display unit that is around 6, 000 square feet that is right on the Fraser River.  There is a parking spot for you yacht right in front of the house.  The materials used on this structure are simply amazing, from the steel beams, air tight siding, quadrupole pane windows, the list goes on and on.  I really want to see what it looks like when its done, especially with the stained floor I just finished on 2100 square feet on the main floor.

I could haddle having this coming off my backyard and walking on to my yacht

::Probably one of the crasiest houses I've ever seen in term of material technolgy. The time and money spent so far is crazy.::

End of the week, work week.

Thursday and Friday of last week we did some work over at a large greenhouse complex.  We were doing some slab prep for a large ramp/ loading dock in a massive temp structure.  This structure  could house 2 to 3 football fields, and they want to expand it.

This structure was built for sawdust.  The reason why they have so much sawdust is when the energy prices went up they changed to a system where they burn their own sawdust to create heat.  They have these massive heaters that they load with a large front end loader and burn the sawdust.

Here are some shots I took while I was there.

Week day looking foward to the weekend!

So my week has been pretty stupid, doing production work on the computer, try to keep theartprojectonline up to date.  Wednesday I was working for the family buz doing a garage foundation out in West Vancouver.  I was at this house about 5 years ago.  The man that owns this great piece of work has been working on it himself for 6 years! From making his own doors, windows, to lifting the old house and drilling and chipping of the rock.  Seriously this is one serious working retired man.  The cedar work and craftsmanship is insane.  I hope he gets this in a magazine or something.  Here are the outside shots.  I didnt have the balls to ask to go inside…maybe when we do the garage floor, I will…
