:: Keeping things local @ tri geeks::

Last week I finally made my way out to White Rock to pick up some gear for my up coming  50km race in Washington.   Since it was a new event for me I want to grab some new gear a fuel belt, more socks, some compression gear and more importantly more fuel.

First day out with this was a 3 hr 30 minute run, no problems at all.

When I picked everything up I had a good chat with the store owner Tanya and found out there is a pretty big sale over at trigeeks this Saturday  (Nov. 16th). A sale that includes some pretty interesting people coming in including Canadian Olympic Bronze Medalist in the 10km Open Water Swim, Richard Weinberger.

Here is a chance to grab some new gear for 2014 or replace some of the old stuff that’s seen better days after a few seasons of racing.  Great chance to buy and support the local shop in the Fraser Valley. Sounding like the early bird gets the worm.
